Volunteer at the Hemingway District Block Party

We need volunteers!  Celebrate the kickoff of construction for a renewed Oak Park Avenue with the Hemingway District! Join us, rain or shine, for a daylong community celebration filled with games, food, deals, and surprises from Lake Street to Pleasant Street.

During this vibrant springtime celebration, volunteers will assist with greeting and directing attendees, monitoring kids' activity areas, and encouraging support for our local businesses impacted by construction on Oak Park Avenue.

Most activities take place outdoors.  Volunteers should wear comfortable footwear and seasonally appropriate attire, including hats or other sun protection as needed.
